On-boarding Specialist

Onboarding Specialist

Join the customer service team as an onboarding specialist. You will be directly interacting with our clients supporting their sign-up efforts, addressing questions related to their tax profile, sales data and sales tax filing and handling pre-sales questions.  You will become skilled in using our proprietary Cloud based SaaS (software as a service) tool.  You will be a part of a small team working closely with the Tax Filing Specialists. We place a high premium on team members with a deep commitment to quality and the personal skills to collaborate effectively.

Skills are required in these areas:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or working towards a Bachelor’s degree) or Master’s degree in Accounting or Business
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Confidence and expertise explaining browser-based web applications over the phone to non-technical individuals.
  • The ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
  • Prior experience with tax filing helpful but not required
  • A valuable but non-required skill would be prior experience with or knowledge of POS systems (specifically Clover, Square and Quickbooks)
  • Proficiency in Spanish would be helpful

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Check newly boarded customers verifying tax profile credentials and ensuring complete boarding information (banking information, specific tax filing requirements as necessary per state, multiple tax filing login credentials, etc.)
  • Initiate immediate communication with customers who have not completed all steps of the boarding process via email and/or phone
  • Review Tax Profile Notification emails to check for state tax site access
  • Utilize the Merchant Profile Evaluation Report to identify and resolve customer boarding issues (missing bank information and/or tax profile, incorrect efile or email)
  • Assist operations team during filing period to contact merchants with missing or incorrect state tax filing credentials

Business Operations Specialist

Join the business operations team as a sales tax filing specialist. You will work closely with our operations team filing returns for clients across multiple US tax jurisdictions.  You will also be directly interacting with our clients supporting their sign up efforts, addressing questions related to their tax profile, sales data and sales tax filing and handling pre-sales questions.  In addition you will become skilled in using our proprietary Cloud based SaaS (software as a service) tool.  You will be a part of a small team where you input will be valued and there will be room for advancement.
